Welcome
to Inglewood Christian Reformed Church
We are a Christian church committed to growing together as disciples of Jesus Christ. Take a moment to look around the website, and plan your visit. We will be honoured to walk alongside you in coming to know and follow Christ and discover life—and life to the full (John 10:10).
Worship With Us
Our worship service begins at 10:00 am on Sundays, and this is the best way to discover more about us, the God we believe in, and to let us get to know you. We encourage people to come in-person, but also provide a livestream service. We provide nursery care for children 0-3 years old during the service, and children age 3 through Grade 4 head off to Sunday School partway through the service. A greeter will help you find the nursery and introduce you to a Sunday School teacher. We serve coffee and tea in the fellowship hall after the service.
Sunday FAQs
What happens during a Sunday service? Whether you are exploring the Christian faith for the first time or a long-time believer, our Sunday service has something for everyone. We sing historic hymns and newly composed worship songs. You may hear any combination of piano, pipe organ, guitar, drums, violin, and brass instruments on any given Sunday. We will have people lead in prayer, and also have times of corporate responsive prayers. Our pastoral staff will lead us in a sermon each week, opening our hearts and lives to God’s Word and applying it to all aspects of life.
What should I wear? At Inglewood Church we invite people to “come as you are.” People’s attire will be as varied as the music we sing.
Pastor Andrew Aukema
I have been privileged to serve Inglewood Church since 2021, and have been in pastoral ministry since 2012. I enjoy seeing how God is changing people’s lives, and continuing to deepen and renew faith in people of every generation at Inglewood. I believe that life with Christ as Savior and Lord is the key to a life of peace, joy, hope despite difficult circumstances, meaning, and the motive to love one another as ourselves. And life in the church is one of the most important commitments you can make for discovering all of that. It’s my hope to meet you, to take your questions seriously, and to present Christ to you as compelling, redeeming, and beautiful.
Parking
The parking of the lot is prioritized for visitors, seniors, and people with young children. If that’s you—please use it! We are thankful the Servus Credit Union bank on the south side of 113 Ave allows us to use their parking lot on Sunday mornings. Otherwise, you will be able to find street side parking within a block of the church.
